A Memorial Gift is usually a monetary donation presented to the Church in honor of someone (living or deceased). Families often note in obituaries that donations may be made to the Church to honor the deceased. All donations are acknowledged with a card of thanks and the family is notified as well of donations made by others.

A request may be made along with the gift as to where the money will be designated for use in the church. Our Capital Ministry is the internal group who guides the use of all monies within the church and will seriously take all requets under advisement.  The church however has the final word as to where the funds will best serve our congregation. The role that the person for whom the gift was given played in our church and their lifetime interests and activites are always taken into consideration.  We hope that donors will have faith that we seek and listen to God's guidance in these matters and it is God who knows best as to where financial assistance can best benefit his church. Special circumstances may be considered.
