CACC's 2011 Stewardship Campaign was introduced at the Fall Picnic Sunday, September 25. A banner bearing Stewardship's new logo was displayed (See photo). While people waited for lunch to begin they placed stars on a huge world map to indicate where they were born and where their families originated --- fulfilling the first part of the stewardship message; "Let our past inspire and inform us." Susan and Michael Whitney and their crew of volunteers organized a splendid picnic lunch. Steve Weleck grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for 100 and long lines of tables were filled with pot luck side dishes, salads and desserts. Another opportunity to enjoy community, recognize our blessings and acknowledge our responsibilities.
